The Moroccan National Olympic Committee has officially unveiled the final roster of athletes who will represent Morocco at the upcoming summer Olympic Games in Paris. This delegation comprises 60 athletes, set to compete from July 26 to August 11 in the French capital.
The committee clarified on its website that the selection process adhered to qualification systems and official rosters approved by the Moroccan Royal Federations. Subsequently, the Moroccan National Olympic Committee completed the registration of its athletes with the Paris 2024 organizing committee.
In total, 60 athletes, including 18 women, will don Morocco’s colors in 19 different sports disciplines. These events include athletics (13 athletes, both male and female), rowing (1), beach volleyball (2), boxing (3), breakdancing (2), canoe-kayak (2), cycling (2), fencing (2), football (18), and golf (1).
Further representation spans judo (3), wrestling (1), swimming (2), skateboarding (1), equestrian (2), surfing (1), taekwondo (2), sport shooting (1), and triathlon (1). This robust and diverse team aims to defend Morocco’s national pride on the international stage in Paris.
