Notably, the squad was incomplete, with several key players absent, including Ez Abde, who is temporarily occupied with pre-season training at Real Betis. Ez Abde is expected to join the team by Friday, after his club training concludes on July 20. Other latecomers, including prominent names like Achraf Hakimi, are expected to arrive starting Monday, according to reliable sources at Le360 Sport.

The final training session before departing for France took place on Saturday as reported by Le360 Sport. The team, led by Eliesse Ben Seghir, will continue their preparations along the banks of the Rhône with several friendly matches lined up. One such match is scheduled for Thursday, although the opponent has yet to be revealed.

The Moroccan squad will later travel to nearby Saint-Étienne to play their opening two Group B matches. At the Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium, they will face Argentina on July 24, followed by a clash against Ukraine three days later. Their final group stage match is set for July 30 against Iraq, which will take place at the Allianz Riviera in Nice.
