Noussair Mazraoui Eyeing Premier League Move After Two Seasons with Bayern Munich
After a two-year stint with Bayern Munich, 26-year-old Moroccan international Noussair Mazraoui is considering a move away from Bavaria this summer.
Bayern Munich Exit on the Horizon
The 2023-2024 season could mark the end of Mazraoui’s tenure with Bayern. Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany reports that the right-back, who has made 29 appearances and provided 4 assists in a title-less season, is keen to leave the Rekordmeister. His preferred destination? The Premier League.
Manchester United and West Ham Interested
Two English clubs, Manchester United and West Ham, have already shown interest in signing the player from Leiderdorp. Initial concrete discussions have reportedly taken place, with Mazraoui topping the shortlist for both clubs.
Bayern is said to be demanding €30 million, equivalent to Mazraoui’s market value on Transfermarkt, for his release. However, his prospective suitors are aiming for a fee between €15 million and €20 million, including bonuses.

A Potential Third League for Mazraoui
Having joined Bayern Munich in July 2022 after five professional seasons at Ajax Amsterdam, Mazraoui’s time in Germany has been marred by injuries, preventing him from making a significant impact. Should the move materialize, Mazraoui will be playing in his third top-tier league after the Eredivisie and the Bundesliga.
Manchester United would undoubtedly offer a prestigious step up, but considering his recent experiences, Mazraoui might opt for a club with less intense competition, such as West Ham.
During his spell at Bayern, Mazraoui featured in 55 matches, netting 1 goal and providing 8 assists. He has also secured two trophies: the Bundesliga title and the German Supercup last year.
