José Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe Poised to Make a Major Transfer Move This Summer

In a highly active transfer window, José Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe is on the brink of securing a significant coup. The Portuguese manager, under pressure from rival Galatasaray supporters, is focused on building a competitive team to break the two-season hegemony of their national champions.

According to Sevilla-based journalist Máximo de la Cruz Ramírez Ramírez, Mourinho has overturned what seemed to be a hopeless situation. He has reportedly convinced Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri, who was set to leave Sevilla with just a year left on his contract, to join Fenerbahçe.

De la Cruz Ramírez Ramírez disclosed on Twitter that Mourinho has sealed a four-year deal for En-Nesyri, with an annual salary of €6 million. This recruitment effort includes a forthcoming offer of €20 million plus additional variables, potentially reaching up to €25 million, a move expected imminently. This makes En-Nesyri a key figure in Mourinho’s plans, a factor that appeared to have tipped the scales in Fenerbahçe’s favor.

The Moroccan striker, who had initially attracted interest from Saudi club Al-Qadsiah and Italian side AS Roma, reportedly found Mourinho’s proposition more compelling. Their agreement not only matches the salary proposed by the Saudi club but also assures En-Nesyri a central role in Mourinho’s squad.

For Sevilla, struggling financially, this deal represents a much-needed windfall. In fact, Mourinho has gone all-in to secure En-Nesyri’s signature. If the reports hold true, the official announcement of this high-profile transfer is expected in the coming days, or perhaps even hours, bringing a dramatic twist to the summer transfer saga.
