En-Nesyri Chooses His Next Club!

Peaking interest from three prominent clubs this summer, Youssef En-Nesyri seems to have made his choice for his next career move. With just one year left on his contract at Sevilla, the striker has no shortage of suitors. José Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe, Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadsiah, and AS Roma—all have extended attractive offers to him. However, only one club will ultimately prevail.

Recent updates from the Italian press indicate that AS Roma, sixth in Serie A last season, is likely to secure the Moroccan international’s services. According to CalcioMercato, the Giallorossi are on the verge of signing En-Nesyri, who has 73 caps and 20 goals for his national team. The Rome-based club has tabled an offer of €22 million, significantly lower than Mourinho’s €30 million bid or Al-Qadsiah’s extravagant €40 million proposal.

Despite previous speculations, En-Nesyri has seemingly dismissed both Fenerbahçe and Al-Qadsiah. Reports claim the towering 1.92m forward is not interested in a move to the Gulf region, countering earlier rumors of a potential transfer to Khobar. Instead, he is said to be pushing for a move to the Italian capital, with a crucial meeting between him and Sevilla’s management expected this week.

En-Nesyri is reportedly awaiting Sevilla’s green light to travel to Rome where a contract might soon be inked. CalcioMercato states that there should be no significant barriers to reaching an agreement. In Rome, the two-time Europa League winner is expected to earn an annual salary of €1.4 million—considerably less than the offers from Turkey and Saudi Arabia, where Al-Qadsiah had previously presented a €6 million offer.
