Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire Set for Beach Soccer Showdown
In what promises to be an exciting double-header, Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire’s national beach soccer teams will face off in two friendly matches. These encounters are scheduled for Wednesday, July 10th, and Thursday, July 11th, 2024, at the Mohammed VI Football Complex.
Moroccan head coach Gilberto Da Costa De Souza has called up a squad of sixteen players for these crucial preparatory games. The roster includes prominent names like Yasser Abada, M’hamed Manar, Anouar El Abassi, Ibrahim Abaghli, and several others.
These friendly matches are a key part of Morocco’s preparation for the 2024 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations (CAN), which will take place in Egypt. Although the qualifying rounds kick off on July 19th, Morocco has already secured their spot in the tournament following Angola’s withdrawal.
