Madrid, Spain – June 2, 2024: The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) today congratulated Ibrahim Diaz, Real Madrid player, on winning the UEFA Champions League for the 15th time in the club’s history.
Diaz played a key role in Real Madrid’s Champions League campaign, making 9 appearances, scoring 2 goals, and providing 1 assist. He was instrumental in the team’s victory over Borussia Dortmund in the final at Wembley Stadium in London, which ended in a 2-0 win for Real Madrid.
The FRMF expressed its pride in Diaz’s achievement, considering him an inspiration for young players in Morocco. They also praised his role in promoting Moroccan football on the international stage.
Diaz is the second Moroccan player to win the Champions League with Real Madrid after Achraf Hakimi who won the title in 2018.
